dream that was seen many years ago was still incomplete. The dream that you anytime
and go anywhere, whenever we want, like we do with our cars. Now it seems that
the dream is becoming true. Yes my friends, I am talking about the Flying Cars.
In this article, I am going to tell you about 5 such flying
cars which you can buy or place a pre order. Take a look at our list of five practically
successful flying cars.

PAL-V
One/ Liberty
PAL-V Flying car is built by PAL-V International B.V. PAL-V is a Dutch company. PAL-V stand for
Personal Air and Land Vehicle. According to the company PAL-V is the first
commercially available flying car of the world. PAL-V is a tricycle car which
can run on the streets at a top speed of 180 Km/h and also can fly with the
same speed. Unusually it tilts in the curves on the road that increases the
cruising experience as well. It does not require a run way. PAL-V is a two seat
flying car including the pilot. It also has a very good fuel economy of 13.15
Km/liter. PAL-V liberty models are commercially launched and can be purchased.
According to the company, the PAL-V Liberty Pioneer
edition will be a limited edition model and only 90 cars of the PAL-V Liberty
Pioneer edition will be manufactured. Later the sports model will be available.
There are two versions of this flying car available of purchase today: the
Pioneer version for $ 599,000, with a “unique” interior and exterior, and the
sports editions for $ 399,000.

Sky-Switchblade
The Samsons Sky-Switchblade
is an American amateur- built road able aircraft, under development by Samson
Motor Works. The Switchblade will be a three wheeled tricycle type vehicle with
forward retracting wings. It features two-seats in side-by-side arrangement in
the cockpit with a boot space for 23 kg of baggage. Fixed tricycle landing gear
and a single engine in pusher configuration as a ducted fan for flight that
will also drive the rear wheels on the ground.
For ground use the wings fold forward under the aircraft’s
belly Ito a clamshell case that protects them from road debris. Standard
engines available will be a 160 hp or 190 hp Motus Motorcycle Power plant and
the 170 hp Suzuki Hayabusa Motorcycle engine.
The vehicle will require a motorcycle or automobile
driver’s license to operate on the ground and a minimum of a private pilot license
to fly

AeroMobil
4.0
AeroMobil is a Slovak prototype aircraft, designed by Stefan
Klein and first flown in 2013. The aircraft will be produced by AeroMobil
s.r.o. the prototype was conceived as a vehicle that can be converted from an
automobile to an aircraft. The version 2.5 proof of concept took 20 years to develop
and first flew on 2013. AeroMobil 4.0 is a two seater four wheeled flying car,
it is STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) Aircraft. Maximum speed of the car in
the ground is 160 km/h and in air 200 km/h. It gives a fuel economy of 23.8
km/liter on ground and 15 l/hour in flight.
Preorders are being taken so you can preorder it. It will
be available in 2020.

Terrafugia
TF-X
The Terrafugia TF-X is the first fully autonomous flying
car under development by Boston-based Terrafugia. The TF-X is a four wheeled car and can seat
four passengers. This flying car has an engine combined with two electric
motors for propulsion and is capable of vertical take-off and landing. It doesn’t
require a run way. It can take off/ land at your backyard. It extends its retractable
wings which has attached pusher propellers while taking off and the aerial
thrust is provided by a ducted fan at the rear. It will fit in a single car garage.
Its might come any time in 2021.
TF-X got a 300 hp fuel engine and two 600 hp electric
motors to achieve a cruising flight speed of 200 mile per hour speed and doesn’t
a refueling or recharge up to 800 km.
The TF-X has some unique features. It is capable to avoid
air traffic, bad weather, and restricted and tower controlled airspace. If the
operator becomes unresponsive, the TF-X would automatically land to the nearest
airport. If the TF-X operator declares an emergency, the authorities will be
automatically notified of the situation and the TF-X can be landed in a
non-approved landing zone. The TF-X has a full vehicle parachute system that can
land the car safely in case the TF-X becomes incapable of auto-landing.
The expected pricing is to be $300,000 or more.

AeroMobil
5.0
AeroMobil 5.0 is another flying car under development
from the AeroMobil s.r.o. It can seat 4 passengers and has a VTOL (Vertical
Take-Off and Landing) system. It will have two electric motor driven propellers
at the ends of the both wings which will vertically take off the car and after
the motors turns forward to provide areal propulsion. Company has plans to
launch the car in 2025.
